Artis Originals kitchen dressers are made using a front frame construction. Firstly, quality timber is selected and planed to size. The timber is then joined using traditional mortise
and tenon joints to make the kitchen dresser frames. Next the frames are dressed and then finished with an elegant staff bead.
The kitchen dresser frames are then attached to the carcasses. Now the doors, also mortise and tenoned are individually fit and swung on brass butt hinges.
After this the kitchen dresser drawers are made from hand picked red wood. The timber is planed to size and dovetail jointed. The drawers are lacquered and then mounted on soft- close
runners. The final process involves two coats of primer being applied to the whole kitchen dresser before being painted in the colour of your choice. Finally the kitchen dresser is finished
with a hard wearing clear matt varnish.
